I am indeed :D

I just need to PX my ZX7R for a pointy SV650S.

Dion.

Why? Don't you like the bike?

I love it, but I'd like something which is cheaper to run :D

An SV would half my insurance costs and it looks more comfortable to ride than a ZX-7R. I travel 440 miles a week to work, mainly on motorways.
Something cheap but fun would be ideal :D

Would I be right in saying an SV650S would manage 60MPG if ridden sensibly?

Just barely, but that would be boring.

I manage about 40mpg but thats really dodgy riding :)

One of the reasons I wanted a bike was so that I could still have a bit of fun and save lots of money travelling to work & back, compared to my car (30mpg &
£220 a month in petrol)

I'm getting 40mpg on a ZX7R but that's going steady :(

I honestly thought an SV would beat that by a country mile

Think I'll keep the ZX7R :D

I get about 40mpg; my riding can in no way be described as steady.
