Wassup - found a dead fly on it?
Can do, depends on the type of polish. Some contain an oganic/volatile fraction that evaporates faster that one would want in strong sunlight.
If in doubt, read the instructions
I've never had a problem with doing that. I guess it might depend which polish you use though. :?

Ed there is no real reason for you to proudly polish your bike in full view of the neighbours,I know it's red but it is not a Bologna Beauty! :P
Err silly suggestion can you not have your garage open and the bike in shade and carry on from there? :?

No, worse. I couldn't go out riding this morning so I went into a foul strop, and then needing my bike fix I squished something against the tank:

Peter I know she's a Hinckley Horror rather than a Bologna Beauty but ugly ducklings have their place too
See what learning there is on the org. I didn't think of parking it in the garage :stupid: I shall learn from Jabba's experience yesterday :salut:

Ugly duckings grow into beautiful swans :D
A duck will always be a duck and therefore a subject of fun

Wish I'd listened to Tim Wilky first
Think you're confusing with can't wash in the sun because it dries too quickly and leaves streaks

Nah - some polishes do say that on the tin
Just done mine with Mr Sheen in the sun - no problems (apart from a burnt neck  )

It says on the tin that Mr sheen is an irriatent. DO not use it on your self in direct sunlight.

No idea at all, I've never polished the blasted thing. If it's lucky it'll get a bucket of water and a sponge every few months whether it need it or not.

If it makes you feel any cooller, Andalucia where I live and Murcia are in a state of emergency due to 40ºC plus temps at the moment. In fact Murcia saw the first fatality from heat related problems this afternoon.
The biggest indication for me was the fact that instead of edging my way in to the sea inch by inch until the water final laps around my err hum.....shorts.....today I was walking to the edge of the water and diving straight in! That is normally unknown for me as I am a real whimp when it comes to cold water! 8)
