Surprise, surprise, they need shortening! Just wondering if they have to go back to HEL, or if there are people more local that can do this sort of thing for a quicker turnaround (I don't mind paying)

Why do they need shortning?

If they were like that when you bought them then just send them back.

I didn't buy them - Well I did, but off another forum member, so no box, receipt etc. Also forgot that they were for a Curvy so the rear line is way out given the extra length for the caliper mounted under the swingarm. The fronts aren't so bad, but there is a lot of excess, even with lock to lock movement, that I wouldn't mind losing.

i had the same with mine that i bought at a bike show,

in the end, i just twisted them around each other and put loads of clamps on em to keep em in place.

They were too long for my curvy too; it's a real pain. I've tried to re-route them and now I have even more paint rubbed off my front mudgaurd :!: The two full length lines seems to be more popular than keeping the original splitter, but having seen what has happened with my mudgaurd I wouldn't go that way again.

How long are the lines? I've got a set of HEL lines which were on my curvy when it had clipons and could do with longer ones for my second bike I'm doing up.

Straight swap if you want depending on the length of yours and mine for that matter.

Agree with that. I now prefere one long line with a cross-over if I'm buying new. A lot tidier as well.

21Quest - Been looking at the fronts and I can live with them, its that back that's the biggest pain as it now has a big loop in it and is rather prone to collecting air in it.

Mac -Is it black pvc coated? Yes I know, I'm a ponce but they have to match!

If bled properly , it's no different to be honest.

By the way don't worry about the colour of Mac's. It's pink coated PVC to match yours :P
