Been looking for a new lid, not much choice down here, so far I've only found a Shoei that fits me! I currently have a Caberg flipup, but I'm no longer happy with the fit, and would prefer to go back to a full-face. Anyone know who else makes lids in my size?

I'm sure I read somewhere Arai were making lids in sizes from 49 upwards now ?

I think it's www.phoenixnw.co.uk is the main distributors in the UK, might be worth an email or two.

Cheers Mark.

You lucky lucky thing. Every time J&S or Hein Gericke have really cheap lids they always have the best deals on your size.

I saw a £299 lid reduced to £35 last year at my local Hein Gericke. Worth spending some time trawling your local shops i think as opposed to seeing what a website has to offer.

Blimey, talk about customer service, sent the email requesting info on any XXS/51 helmets, had a response in less than 5 minutes, recommended an Arai Astro-R, and Arai is what I was looking for. So I'm a happy bunny, as long as I can find one that is, and that it fits.

Thanks Mark.

If you can try one on locally and are happy with the fit etc. Try contacting Hein Gericke Store at Bradford, they are the clearnace outlet and normally have small helmets reduced or JS has previuosly mentioned. Small sized lids normally get sold cheap.

I also have a tiny head. My stepson's head is bigger than mine - and he's only 7!!! My head was the same size as his when he was 4!!! Anyhoo, I can also recommend Arai. Ive got one and its a great fit. They also change shell size. Some makes just put loads of padding in like a HUGE shell, which just looks odd when you have a wee head!
