I hate the snake pass, I have never been over there on my bike and never will, to many ghosts tbh, every corner has flowers on and they wont be for cage drivers.

Oh how I hate that - flowers by the road I mean.

I feel bad posting this because of Haxsaw but if ever it happened to me - no flowers, OK?

I'm not to bad with fresh flowers but these are flowers that have turned brown and withered and died. I know this not to be true but it's almost like "I remembered you once and then you were gone and the flowers pass as well", I find it very sad and I wont ride there. It may have changed but it was like that two years ago.

I've done Snake's Pass a few times and not found it too bad. There's some tricky corners but there always is on a decent road. Didn't notice too many flowers either.
This maybe complete bo11ocks but i was once told the RAC and AA deploy flowers at danger spots to help prevent accidents.

It was closed for resurfacing last week. I've never known it closed on weekends or bank holidays. maybe they're just trying to put people off :?

The Woodhead A628 is better and runs virtually parallel, Snake defo needs resurfacing in places
