:?: I am looking for recommendations as to where has a good selection of ladies jackets etc. Had the gf on pillion on sat to BSB but I'm not happy with her not having decent protection. Tried a few at the stalls but nothing suited. So ladies where do you get your gear and have you gone for leather or goretexy stuff. She wont be going out in the rain but may get caught in it (well it is Scotland) so should be shower resistant at least. Any advice appreciated. :salut:

Jim Allan in Falkirk is pretty handy for you and they do good prices, nothing is the price labelled if you ask, or go in looking with a budget in mind, but the don't have what you need. They will often give you something better for the same price. WIfe got a pair of Scott Leather cordura jeans with removal quited lining and CE knox armour in knees and hips for £85 (labelled at £110), and a Fieldsheer jacket (not known much here but well respected in the states), same spec with knox elbows, shoulders and back protector for £75.

Have got a fair bit of stuff from J&S too but found the friendliness / service to be lacking sometimes.

Girls2bike are good, but their gear does strike me as over priced for what it is. Hein Gericke are always worth a look.

Try pro-scot. They have a good selection of discount ladies leathers and waterproofs. Approx £150-185 ladies leather jacket. They're very good as they cater for a lot of lady riders coming through their cbt/das

or

Drysdale Motorcycles in Perth have a sh*t hot sale on

Oxtar boots reduced from £190 - £110 (I actually said I was only wanting to spend £110 and they said done!)
Suzuki GSX-R team leather jacket £350 - £250

Don't go in there you'll end up buying a KTM I was so tempted the last time I was in... I love that shop, far too much good stuff though... They also gave my cousin an Aprilia RS250 three years ago and it sits in his garage at the moment doing nothing, they never asked for it back at the end of the season, its not as is he's avoiding them either, we were in a couple of weeks ago buying stuff for his KTM 125 SX...

Being honest Try Gericke, I get 90% of my gear from Gericke and so does Kirsteen...
