I take it, the safest place is the house to keep it.

I always wondered whether it makes the house smell oily or petrol

Yes it does. Mine spent a weekend in the front room once and it stank. Then recently I was doing some electrical work on the bike and had it in the front room again. Next morning the room was stinking again.

I quite liked the aroma, more than those plug in the wall spray things. Mrs Ape was not in agreement though.

Sweet looking bike 8)

If you plan on keeping it in there i'd check it doesn't invalidate your houshold insurance - ie petrol.

Surely the question should be how much was every other componant bar the front wheel, switch gear, levers, pegs and bulbs!

Whats it doing indoors, you should be out riding it.

Nice bike. K6's do look swish in that black paint scheme.

Providing I leave it out to cool it doesn't smell in the house. The first day I had it though I clocked up 300 miles and brought it STRAIGHT in. The dog nearly passed out overnight because of the fumes.

Slightly off topic I know - but what fish do you keep? - If you're really interested, they're tropical fish, ya know, plecostamus, black widows, tetra, silver sharks and some other little tropical fishies. Last count there was about 16 of the finny things.

Plecos are awesome... mum has a small one now, but before him we had one which was almost a foot long!! Have you ever had cichlids? Theyre amazingly beautiful! But they become really aggressive when looking after their hundreds of fry! You need to get yourself some guppies, they're groovy little things

This is a small pleco cos the tank is not huge, but he's grown so much compared to the other fish. Not heard of cichlids but then I'm not big into fish. I like the cuddly wuddly animals like our rabbit, chinchilla, our cats and golden retriever   . The fish were bought for my little girl as she LOVES every creature and reckons she's gonna be a vet when she's all growd up!! My other half helps clean out the fish with her. I'll ask her about cichlids. I know she's got about 16 fish in the tank but I can't remember what they all are.

Not sure which undertrays are best for the new GSXR's. I've seen some on the road that look 8) though.

The usual suspects are Powerbronze, Ermax, Pyramid, Rhencullen.

Here's a pic of a Cresent Suzuki version, far from cheap though at £264

OMG  I've already spent the family holiday money on my new bike so I can't see much point in checking the bank account for that amount at this particular moment in time

 shocker isnt it.

I've just looked up the price of a pyramid K5 version in black £89.99, they dont list the K6 though but would expect you to be able to pick one up for around the £70 - £100 mark....

...........Time lapse and futher research....

.....Unless as i suspect the tail section on the new bikes is different in which case you'd be able to unbolt the scoop and bolt on a tail tidy for around the £40 mark. Sorry if its all a little vague i havent really inspected the new K6's.
