Try adjusting your levers to bring them in line with your wrist, that is you normaslly have to move them down.

Try adjusting your levers to bring them in line with your wrist, that is you normaslly have to move them down.
Also try relaxing your grip on the bars and not hanging on for dear life quite so much :D Seriously it makes a huge difference if you can be relaxed when on the bike.
Also you can try fitting heavier bar ends which will help damp the vibration down a little.
How good a fit are your gloves. If they are to big they'll bunch up in your palm and this also makes life uncomfortable.
There are a number of things you can try. Shifting the levers is always the best one to start with as it costs nothing.
You could try different softer grips to reduce the vibration or different bar ends to do the same thing. Even different tyre pressures can make a difference.

Also can any one comment on how noisy there engine is I've never had a v twin before and have noticed that when hot there is quite a heavy knock at idle and noticeable up to about 3000rpm. Obviously as its new I'm going to go back to the dealer just interested in others opinions....

hi I'm in Dudley. Yes i had a 600 ninja and a vfr ( v4) both were as smooth as a baby's bum and i work for BMW as a tech so I'm used to smooth engines and dont like knocking noises im sure i will get used to it .. loving the bike though...
