Has anyone got any experience with Michelin Macadam 100X's...? Mate of mine at work ran some on his ZZR600 and said he got excellent life out of them and both good wet and dry performance.

Was leaning towards Metzeler Roadtec Z6's until he threw them into the mix. Anyone have any knowledge of how these perform on the SV?

Use my bike for the daily commute involving long stretches of motorway so want something that can withstand a bit of straightline slog.

Cheers,

Tilly

Macadams? Don't even think about them, go for the Z6s, it's not a decision you'll regret.

Did you ever own one of those Raleighs with the solid tyres? That's a Macadam, that is.

Yep, had them on a Deauville. Made of granite, last and handle as you'd expect.
