With the need for a new family motor. Im considering selling the SV650 to fund a newer one.......

So, i have:

SV650 ( naked.)
Xreg ( 2001.)
Royal Candy Blue.
6k.
New MOT.
Totaly standard ( never even had a race can fitted.)
FSH.
Absolutly imaculate..... ( stupidly clean so my mate called it.)

What would it be worth ?....

Any ideas would be handy. ( coz if it aint worth sellin'. I wont..)

Thanks.

Alex.

Judging on what you put I would reckon anywhere between £1700-£2000.

have a look on Biketrader and compare the prices for similar bikes on there with how much you want for yours. Should give you a fair idea of what its worth.

You could ask if a dealer would take it in part ex for your next bike ?

I asked the Mazda dealer if he'd take it but he said no....

Disadvantage of trying to sell your bike on the SV forums is most people have them already. Unless someone is looking for one and stumbles onto this forum your customer base is limited.

Are you also advertising in other places?

Just to offer a little encouragment so you dont give up on selling that nice piece of kit.

I think the price is about right, and would happily pay it (and maybe a little more) if it was a 650S, but I have set my sights on a faired bike (planning on doing a few motorway miles).

Dont give up - it WILL sell, if you are in a rush, stick it on ebay with a £1500 starting point and a £1800 reserve.

Just say that the bike is advertised elsewhere and (I believe) you can end the aution anytime if a buyer appears.
