Go ahead and do it because you obviously want to (and it will make my bike look better in comparison!) I honestly think there's better things you could be doing with your time - which don't involve tampering with your bike which looks really good already.

Option 1 or 2.

If you do the others Liz will rip your boy bits off.

Stealthy black. Always Stealthy black.

Oh and as for the can. Good luck it took me ages to get the blueflame can on my SV to fit properly.

Option One but with a shorter can......

Was just an idea (obviously a bad one). I'll be getting the exhaust fixed in the winter so it won't lean out as much, and those R&G brackets will turn black possibly along with the pillion pegs and black rearsets.

Black fork lowers! It's a lovely bike, the rim tape does look good but I think black on black is better...

Hmm, interesting. Do you think black engine covers as well would be overkill and I wouldn't be able to see the bike at night?

How about some of those red tyres, they look da bomb, and maybe some bling anodised red bar ends, nah what i'm saying homey. :smt080

(it looks neat just black, everyone knows plain black is the bestest & fastest colour, crazy boy)

OR

You could replace those ridiculasly large standard indicators.

I've seen black engine covers (on A-jay's R6) by a company like R&G (can't find them on their website) They would be functional and achieve the look you want.

I like i the way it is, but if you have to tat with it, what about a silver pinstripe on the wheels

Hey,

Stay stock. If you absolutely have to do something with it, do the rimtape... Otherwise no decals replacements. ;)

I've been tempted to do rimtape, but you can't do much with silver.

Liz wants some black engine covers for her bike. She likes the stealthy black look.

I think it would look much better.

Think it'd be an all-or-nothing... Black side casings or engine armour or whatever would look odd with the silver crankcases I think. Lot of work to drop and spray a whole engine.

Right I've decided not to mod my bike with red bits so this thread is now redundant. Other stuff maybe.

I will post in the SV tuning section if I need more views on different mods. Thanks to everyone for their comments.
