A few weeks back I borrowed and crashed my wifes SV (used to be mine but I gave it to her). So I said I'd buy her a new one as a replacement/1st wedding anniversary present.

This morning she test rode a Triumph Sprint ST, just received a very excited phone call think she liked it.

"I love it it's the best etc...."

Gets delivered in 2 weeks it's the ABS version in blue with paniers chucked in free as they're doing a summer promotion said no to the sat nav £899 extra!!!!

Very nice. I wanted one of those from when I first saw them. Test rode it last year and am still keen, just can't scrape together enough beer tokens.

Not bad, not bad at all. Not ridden on myself but I've heard that it's the closest thing to toppling the VFR from the top spot of all round sports tourers.

I must say I prefer the Trumpet's looks. 8)

Maybe in the short term, but will it still be around in 20yrs time at the top of the 'All-Rounder' tree ? </DERAIL>

They completely sold out of the red ones on the abs model or she'd have gone for that

Best bit about the paniers and if we buy the top box is next summer if we go round Europe I can chuck all my stuff in their and not carry anything. Not sure what I could get on mine anyway
