Hi,

Looking for a decent double bubble screen for a K6 model SV650S. Seen an advert for a double bubble screen made by 'airblade racing' on ebay (just checked the advert and the title does not match the description :x ) and was wondering if any of you guys have got one/had any experience with them. Im finding it a bit tricky to find any of the 'mandatory modification' items for my K6 anywhere to be honest, so if anyone could point me in the right direction for a decent double bubble and a rear hugger I would be very grateful!!

Cheers all

As for screens e.d. has a Fabri screen on her K5. Very nice bit of kit.

Have you looked at the Suzuki OEM hugger ? again a quality item.

I have a powerbronze DB on my curvey SV which I've also been very pleased with.

I think that there is no difference between the K5 and K6 except for the colours so I would think that K5 parts oughta fit.

I think that is the case its best to check with the manufacturer first though.

Im not going back to suzuki for an OE one, even if it is colour coded. The price is a bit steep and then I'll prob have to wait half a millenia to get it. I had to wait 6 weeks for a belly pan! I thought going for a popular bike like this I would be inundated with equipment but none seems to be there, I must be looking in the wrong places.

Has anyone got one of the Suzuki seat cowls? If so what was it like to fit, is it a home job or will it have to go in for the work?

I also have the fabbri DB screen avaliable from Motrax. OEM hugger should be in stock at Redcar Motorcycles as they seem to carry a ton of spares and fairing parts.

Fabbri DB screen are great.

OEM Suzuki huggers are best looking and fixing, I've had 4 huggers now and the OEM is hands down the best (just the most expensive)!!

The Suzuki seat cowl literally clips on in the same way as the pillion seat, lovely. I like my F Fabbri screen, I tried 3 different screens before i settled on it. Airblade look great, but have a wee bit of a rep for bad fitting.

Cheers lads, I'll definately get the seat cowl and a fabbri screen - I take it they have a website I can visit?

Will have a think aout the hugger, £160 is quite a bit for an accessory and it will slow me down in the persuit of an end can :P I can't argue with experience though so if you guys say they fit the best (which is what you would expect I guess) then it may be the right decision to make.

Shopping list...

DB screen
Seat cowl
Hugger
Exhaust - would like to buy a second hand one off ebay with a battered can so I can chop that link pipe instead of my own though.

Think that would about do it for now. My other luxury Item would be either an after-market or GSXR shock for the rear, I was well dissapointed with the pogo **** it was giving me the other week and theres no adjusment on it :(

Got a Fabbri screen on mine & think it's great. Also just fitted a Red Fox hugger and am very happy with it. They will also give a 10% discount on ordering if you mention you are registered on 650.org.
