Old Compton Street is the best place to head for.
Yes, I don't know the way though! I do so no drama - we can sort out a meeting point somwhere local and run in from there.

I usually go straight from work so I'll see you there
Took me over 20minutes of riding round to find my way round the stupid one-way / no right / left turn system near soho. Hopefully this week it will be easier.
Would like to next week, but this week will be camping for Lydden

BTW if anyone is unsure of the way and unable to meet up with gmonsta I'd be happy to set up a meet point on the edge of central London so that we can ride in together? let me know if interested and what time would suit
If this helps...

That makes it look so easy.
So coming on Shaftebury Avenue from the east, turn right onto Dean Street then right again onto Old Crompton?
Would like to next week, but this week will be camping for Lydden Lydden looked tempting - it should be a wicked day out. I opted for a nice bimble about the countryside and BBQ after :smt117 Have fun!

No, don't do that, Frith Street is one way south and the Old Bill Security Co Ltd don't like that sort of behaviour. Do this:
From Shaftesbury Avenue turn on to Dean Street, cross Old Compton Street and continue north until Carlisle Street, there's a pub on the corner and almost always a big crowd there too, turn right into Carlisle Street and then you must turn left on to Soho Square, follow the Square right around and the last street before you're back where you came into the square - the fourth one - is Frith Street, go down Frith Street until you're almost back to Old Compton Street, and you'll see Cafe Nero on your right, park before that on the right.

Perfect description, I've just added it to the SM details:

Just remember the pesants in Soho are of the 'Dumb Sheep' variety, they stand in the middle of the road looking at you bearing down on them at 8k rpm on overrun sounding like a lancaster bomber, finger on horn, lights on with them thinking 'but but but I dont have to move do I?'
Colin
I think that's very unfair, we're just a bit slow that's all  .
