View Full Version : OEM Gel Seat
Just last week I received my OEM Gel Seat for Suzuki SV650s 2005. I been riding with it for 4 days now, but I already feel very uncomfortable. It looks like this seat is much more harder then original one and I can feel every bump on a road.
I am 13 stones and never been riding with gel seat before because nothing to compaire with. Is anyone had same feeling with OEM Gel seat for SV650?
With such hard seat I don't think I can make as much miles without pain in my ass then with original seat.
Any ideas????
Thank you every one.

Is your model pointy or curvy one? If it is curvy then you got diferent seat than mine. I got my seat from USA, and this is originam Suzuki Gel Seat. May be I am too heavy for this seat.
I remember reading that you have to 'run in' your gel seat, after awhile it start feeling better and then eventually it'll feel great.

I hope so. I read that a Corbin seat will take 1500-2000 miles to break-in, hope this will take less. I was thinking to do 1000 mile tour this year.
