Hello...I would like to ask the following question...Is Cupar Suzuki any good?

Have you guys had a fair deal out of them...servicing wise?

Want to keep up the service history for the first two years so is more sellable afterwards.

Bit far from Cheshire isn't it?

always liked them, and they let me take a K6 GSXR-600 out a few weeks back, whilst local dealers are very cagey about it.

Been nosing around Cupars for years, never had a bad visit

Not really, Cheshire kinda stays in the same place.

Based the comment on your Location in your profile though.

Bought my SV in March at sister branch Perth MC.

Originally from Cupar MC.

Very easy to deal with, good service and good staff.

Was in for my 4k a few weeks back, got a Kwak ER-5 to run about on for a few

hours. I forgot a rucksack to take my pillion seat home, so they posted it to me.....

no charge.

Cheers

Just bought K6 SV650s and whilst I am still to pick it up, so far so good!! Most helpful & friendly staff I have come across yet and they had the best deal I could find.

First class. (Perth MC are same group and every bit as good).

Nothing is too much trouble. Very slick operation and very friendly. Good prices, good coffee.

When I was buying my bike they let me test 5 different bikes to see which one I gel'd with. Nothing was an effort.

:D :D :D Had the GSXR 600 (Next years fantasy) out when mine was in for a service. :D :D :D

Who are those guys??? :? :? :?

I will be near Cupar and so that sort of sorts itself.

Have had a look meself at the showroom...and so seems ok outfit. Although the price of their 2nd hand motohs can only be described as wishful thinkin'. Saw a 2 year old Fazer in there more expensive than a new SV...

Cupar are really good, particularly for the discounts the give on new sales.

Saltire are also very good, really friendly and well run.

Cupar's are superb for new machines... I reckon Saltire are better for servicing etc. If you're doing a border raid to grab a new bike, Cupars win hands down, but If it's a long-term relationship ( :makelurve: ) Saltire are excellent. One of those shops that you definately do get a better service as a long-term customer than as a random person off the street, I think, unlike most where the person wanting a new bike gets the best, while the person wanting an o-ring for the bike he bought last week is ignored.

(well, Saltire only opened up about 5 minutes ago, but they're the core of Alvins Moto-Cal, so I'm basing some of this off my dealings with them)

Edinburgh is a bit south of the river for me.

I'll give Cupar a whizz.

need to have the 4000 miler done...just for the stamp in the book to keep up appearances I guess. Any ideas on how much that will cost?

There seems to be a fair in St Andrews on monday...shut the place down and some dodgy geezers put up stalls and stuff...Wassit about?

Probably Lammas Faire, last a week, lots of daft fairground style stalls in the streets and drunken locals/students/exstudents littering the place up. It's a disgrace if you ask me...

But Cupar's are nice, as a girly who's been in a couple of times I've never felt out of place, nor been talked down to the way some places seem to like to do.

160 mile round trip for me but well worth it.
No effort involved, great roads up, & great roads back!
