You have to come to the numbing realisation that the female world of inane reality TV show is without beginning and end. Its a horrible eternal loop that will never, ever end

Just binbag her

I have been looking on the net to try and find some kind of gismo that will "stop reality TV being recorded to sky+" the disk is 60% full of that cr@p.....

We'll never see you down the Barge will we? They do have a telly and they were showing the BB final last night (which is why we were sat around the corner from it  )

i think it should be badded, or they should set up reality tvholics-onamous cos i don't wanna watch it but have become addited and am missing all my other favorite programmes as a result.

Thank God bb has ended and I can have my evenings back

Just apply the "Why Don't You" principle and "go and do something less boring instead"

I started doing this about 2 years ago when I realised that of an evening I was just sat in fornt of the TV vegging, regardless of what mind rotting crap was on.

So while Mrs Tricky drongs in fron t of the TV I tend to do one of the following:

fiddle with/clean motorcycle
ride motorcycle
read things
listen to music
go to gym/swim/ exercise at home
waste time on internet forums

I don't think I could get rid of the telly completly as there are some shows I like to watch

You deffo will see me down the Barge - when I get back on my wheels in fact you will probably see me a lot more - once I get back on you wont get me off haha   8)

Just still a bit upsetting going out to anything bike orientated so I use any excuse

We moved into our new house just before BB started, and my other half was getting giddy in anticipation. We also bought a 'Free to Air' satellite system, and when I installed it, I just deleted C4/E4 and all +1 derivatives. Job done. More channels than I can shake a stick at (inc. Al-Jazera) and no BB. It meant that I missed Lost, but hey, I have a t'internet connection, and IMO, downloading a TV series is just the same as using a video recorder/sky+ box. Does that mean it's legal? It's still copyrighted....

My crafty plan failed tho, as she's just seen the adverts for X-Factor, on ITV, and yes, we do get all 4 million ITV based channels :(

I hate Xfactor, but I do have to admit the first couple of shows where they audition the cr*p people, is hilarious IMO  Once they narrow it down to the people who can sing, I loose interest 8)
