Have you tried Footman James, that's who Pete is with. They seem very good too. When we needed recovery after shredding our rear tyre in Wales they had a guy to us within an hour.

ebike would have been £145 FC. However, I know someone who is having hassle with their claims line and also they have stopped third party cover.
Mines now £220 FC with CN with 3rd party cover on other bikes, european breakdown/recovery as well as uk and a half decent claims department.

I think that 70 odd quid is worth that extra tbh. Its dropped £100 since last year, so next year I reckon CN should be down to about £150 FC at least.

Darn

This year the cheapest was £100.47 - so close!!!!!

I have had an argument with work about their requirement to have business use included if I use it to go to one of the other offices, even though insurance have told me otherwise. So this year I said I would get 2 comparative quotes and charge the difference between "SD&P inc commuting" and "Business Use" back through expenses.

"Business Use" is £103.70. So now I look like a tight fisted so and so

My annual challenge is back round again!!

So far this year - £85 fully comp, including commuting for a minimum of 15,000 miles.

Tel you what, it is really quite depressing when it is nearly as expensive to tax as it is to insure!!

:( £310 this year, was £166 last year, all thru eBike. But my crash last year is still unsettle and thus they wont accept my no claims bonus until its settled. But hey when it is i get a big chunck of change back off them i guess.

Just got £150 for FC, 90 day euro cover, legal cover and 3pty on other machines (with Express Insurance, underwrittedn by Equity Red Star)

Thats with all my mods listed properly too.

£106 was the cheapest interweb quote I found, but it didn't have all the features above, or cover the mods.

Thats a mad quote! I've been with them for 2 yrs, was 240 fc for a group 12, 55 reg bandit 1200.. and now 274 fc for my group 15 04 Aprilia Futura.
Was only 96 quid for my 600 bandit with 0 no claims :)

When your bike is insurance group 17, you have 1 year NCD and have been riding just 1 year £936 was the cheapest by far. The rest either wouldn't touch me, for wanted nearly 2k.

There's no way I could get a quote under £500.

In 2005, I paid something ridiculous like £1700 for fully comp on the Speed Triple, as it was a brand new model and only Norwich Onion had it on their books, and I had several points on my licence and no no-claims due to the recent theft of my SV.

I've now got a few years NCB, plus a garage and Dullvilles are dirt cheap to insure as only slow old farts ride them. My Speed Triple still costs a fair bit more to insure.
