Had an off at the start of July when someone travelling in the opposite direction turned right crossing my path and making me crash the bike.

Today I received a letter from the people dealing with my claim. saying that the other party is saying that I went through a red light which I know i didn't.

So what should I do wait for the police investigation as the witnesses haven't bothered returning their statements to my insurers or as I've got his address either

a: Go round a kick the living cr@p out of him.
b: Pour brake fluid over his car
c: a + b and anything nasty I can think of

I think we should devise a standard rant to be posted in response to the standard sh!te excuses insurance companies come up with when their party is at fault.

Take a deep breath.....

None of those.

Because otherwise you are no better than the lying scumbag who said it. And it would suggest that he was right and it really, really wouldnt help your case in the slightest.

Deep breath, and just keep fighting. Its all you can really do as frustrating and annoying as it is.

Going to go back to where it happened this weekend, along the Embankment in London have a look and see if there was a traffic signal camera at the junction as there's a lot of cameras along that road.

Calmed down now. Just means it going to be a bit longer till it's settled. As long as it's settled before April as that's when my insurance is due. My last claim took 16 months and thats when the other party admitted liability!

Watch these insurance Ba%$*&ds. I had a car written off by someone driving into it while it was parked and I was fighiting for my un-insured losses against the other party - the claim for damage having been paid

My insurance came up due during this and my lot decided to remove ALL my no claims bonus because "I had an outsanding insurance claim" Couldn't afford that so had to accept the offer as it stood.

At least wait until you have the cheque deposited - if you lash out before then you'lll almost certainly take a hit on the payout/get nothing. Some people/their insurers almost seem to want you to do this.

I've always held off attacking the people who knocked me off until the cheque came through. And once I had it banked, smacking them about lost it's appeal.
