View Full Version : Fuel Exhaust Dyno run?
I've got myself a nice new "fuel" can has any ever done a dyno run with one?
I guess it's not alot of difference but I was wondering what it would be.
No idea about the dyno, sorry, but I'm thinking about a fuel can myself and was wondering how it sounds. :?:
Can't have anything too loud, got an 8 week old baby to think about.
Cheers Rich

Too many variables to be able to give you a figure.
e.g.
Type of dyno
Ambient temperature
Tyre pressure
Chain tension
Type of fuel used
Size of jets
Only way to find out is to run a back to back test of your bike on the same day on the same dyno - you might find an increase in the midrange, and a small increase at top end however the increase will only ever be 'marginal'

well I like it, at the mo it's still got the baffle in (first mot in sept)and on tick over it's differant more than louder I would say. So as long as you dont redline as you leave or pull up to your house you'll be fine, looks great.

xlewdx.......got one on mine and its pretty loud without the baffle in (as most exhausts are I would say).
Put it like this, my little girl knows when I'm about to arrive home from work from two streets away :)
Great build quality, and as TLMark says, keep the revs down and its not too bad.....ride it every day to work, passed loads of boys in blue, pull the clutch in and not been stopped yet......not that I'm trying to tempt fate
That's it.........I'm gonna have to add an oval Fuel can to my Christmas list for Santa :D
Cheers guys
