Whats the story behind your avatar then ?

Mine (as you might have guessed) is a cartoon depiction of myself.

My avatar is, like a few others on here, cropped from a piccy taken by Mr Toad on AR06.

The lovely lady on the back is Coolgirl and the Blue Cow in the window was added (by Law, I think?) in order to cheer-up The Mass after he sold his bike.

That's me in Devon last year. One of our surf trips that never seem to find any waves.

I'm really nervous around cameras (you can't trust them not to steal your soul) & always wet myself when anyone takes a picture so I only pose for them when I'm in the water.

Or...it may just be the only decent, digital picture of me.

I change mine frequently.

Currently the late Steve Hislop, my biking hero. Still gutted that he is no longer with us and that he never quite had the opportunity to fulfill his potential. Should have been bigger than Foggy, IMO.

Mine is a photo of me when I was about 2-3.
My Grandma has it on her sideboard. When I was getting married last year, I made the place settings and used this pic of me, and a pic on my now wife at a similar age. I just thought it was vaguely amusing to have a pic of me which to most people wasn't identifiable as me.

I took a pic of a seagull for no apparent reason when I was on holiday in Southwold last year. I added the flashing red eye to make it look a little more calculating and evil again for no apparent reason... My previous one was a pic of me with my nose stuck into a Mini Mac computer - don't ask!

Mine...

When I first came home with the now sold SV

My little daughter was watching CBeebies and in particular "Story Makers" and one of the characters in the stories they tell is "Blue Cow" who goes on lots of adventures.
My Daughter said at the time that the colour of my bike was the same as Blue Cow...hence...

Was tempted to change it, but so many peeps like it, it's now staying :wink:

Mine is Pooh bear (Obviously) because I'm mad on Winnie the Pooh.

It's been since I had my kids, after each of them were born I've gone mad on toys etc of Pooh bear, my son even has his room as Winnie the Pooh at the moment, but he is only 2! I've also had Pooh tattooed on my arm because it reminds me of my kids so much!! :oops:

Plus... I've never grown up myself so I guess it just fits! :wink: :wink:

My avatar is a picture of Chris Walker that i took with a boots disposable camera when i was standing at dingle dell chicane (now sheene curve) at brands hatch WSB in 2002. Im very pleased with it, i didnt think i got the pic at first, and i certainly didnt think a disposable camera could get me a shot that good!

Mines the little CG125 I hired between my first and second test. I decided to take the scenic route on the way from burton upon trent to york and go up to the snake pass (where I took the pic). Shame it had to go back, plenty of fun to be had with it on the helmsley TT (with a half working rear brake) :D .
