only took a few pics at Oban think i got everyones bike in.

Hi also to the triumph boys from chester. we also met a couple of guys at tyndrum who had ridden up from Liverpool that day.

Mate...you should see the collection of jack daniels flasks Patrick and pegasus collected....

And, yes...I had way too much and was in no condition to competently and safely handle 147bhp worth of triumph on the wettest roads scotland had to offer...

Sunday was bloody good though

nice pictures guys! Noticed none of you is wearing waterproofs. Should I bring some on my visit July next year. I'll be spending ten days on a bike touring Scotland. I'm not used to rain and don't know what to wear actually. What should I bring. I'm not gonna camp out but crash in B&B's and wanna travel as light as can be. What would you bring?

textiles would be easier than leathers with waterproofs. it doesnt get that hot up here even in the middle of summer but it will rain at some point

give us a shout when you have definite dates and we will try and arrange to meet up with you and show you some good roads

But I see most of you guys are in leathers?
Better to come in waterproof fabric then with an extra jeans as spare, a pair of trainers for walking here and there and spare undies. That should do it I think?

those in leathers ended up with red stained tops when the dye from leather went onto tops - isnt that so sam lol

couple of others went home as they were wet.

i had textiles on instead of leathers and still got wet top where trousers and jacket meet.

on way home there were a couple put on all in one waterproof suits, one in a fetching day glow orange

dont think your money will be wasted buying waterproofs. dont forget midge spray, the wee beasts will eat you alive

Note to self.. Wear a red t-shirt when planning on going out in slightly damp weather next time
Don't care what colour i ended up.. (Graham on CBR was the same) was still a good day!
Did have the standard Scottish biker accessory all in one waterproof suit with me, just couldn't be bothered to put it on till the end of the day

I hear your t-shirt ended in the same colour as your leathers!
I'm planning a trip up there next summer so I'll keep your mishap in mind :) LOL
