I'm afraid the time has come to part with my beloved bike.

It's an SV650S SY model, year 2000 on a W plate. It's done 14900 miles and the 15k service has already been carried out, including fitting new chain, sprockets and rear pads. It's always been totally reliable, and rides brilliantly. I have service history going back to the 7k service, and the last two services have been done at Steve Jordans Motorcycles, who are fantastic.
Cosmetically it's not perfect but it still looks very respectable and scrubs up well. It has a dent in the left side of the tank measuring about 2 inches by one inch, with a strip along the bottom of the dent missing its paint. There are some small cracks in the fairing on both sides around the indicator stalks. Other than that it's in great condition.
I fitted a dark tint F.Fabbri double bubble screen (I still have the original) and it also has a Scottoiler fitted. I haven't used the Scottoiler for some time as I found it a bit too enthusiastic in it's oiling, but I believe it still works if someone takes the time to fill and adjust it.
The bike is an ex-insurance write off that I bought from Riders Motorcycles up in Cambridgeshire who specialise in salvage bikes. It's been checked over by them, looked over by two garages and ridden for over ten thousand miles be me and no-one has found anything wrong with it yet!
Anyone checking my recent posts here will also know that I had a prang on the bike earlier this year, so it now has a new nose fairing, headlights, clock bracket, mudguard, left front indicator, clutch lever and gear select pedal. Basically anything that was damaged was replaced with new Suzuki parts.
It currently has two months of tax and MOT but for peace of mind I'm getting a new MOT put on it tomorrow.
It's up on Autotrader at £1795 but I'm open to reasonable offers from SV650.org people.
