I hear you, and am getting rather fed up of some folks at the moment.

Here's a happy thought......it's only one or two peeps that, and relative newcomers at that, who are doing it. The rest of the peeps on here are more than OK and able to rub along without seeking attention

Even if I can't make it I'll be thinking happy thoughts for all those who can make it. Hopefully I will be there.

This is a cracking freindly community here and it will stay that way.

Excuse me butting in, don't often venture in here.

But happy thoughts, well, being a conscious optimist I’ve always got the usual array on standby:-
Got a Motorbike to ride anytime I want.
Love my Wife & kids. :smt049
Got some really good friends and others I hope became good friends :grouphug:
Not only like my job but others have said I’m good at it as well.
Not going to starve today and have a bit left over for petrol/fags & beer. :drink:

But my present happy thought, the beast breaths again, after a number of frustrating delays and small problems :smt022 the speed triple is on it’s way back to life, I fired the new all singing & dancing engine for the first time (in the frame) Sunday :smt023 , new front forks/ re-build rear hub/ replacement rear shock/new fairing/ painted frame all done. :D

Just a couple more bits to do now, OK well all the body work, change the loom, fit new alarm, change all the brake calipers and finish painting the wheels, but nothing major.

So all goes well 3 perhaps 4 more weekends should see me back on it, can’t wait.

Happy days :riding:

Cheers Mark.

My current happy thought is that I was coming through Betws-y-coed and noticed petrol has gone down to 92.9p/ltr.

Then I got to denbigh  89.9p/ltr.

That should be enough to make everyone smile!

Oh man that's soooo cute. I remember when my tortoise was almost that small, he could fit on a credit card.
Now he's only three years old and a randy bugger as well.

My happy thought today is one I have many days - My dog is here, laying at my feet. Fast asleep without a care in the world.
There's got to be some good in a world where something so cute can be that peaceful.

Actually, now I think of it I'm also sitting here...

... *edit* figure I don't need to bore you with the details... so...

... I'm sitting here knowing not only am I alive, but I have a life, and it's cool.
So it has sucky bits, but it'd be boring without them.

I'll walk, eventually.

If I lose my job, I'll get another.

If I have no money, I'll do something, or sell something, but something will come along.

The ****ty stuff, it's all stuff that happens just like the good stuff and personally, I'm kinda curious to see what happens next... 8)

My happy thoughts;

All within the space of 3 days...

1. My speeding charge has finally been sorted. I got off lightly.
2. I (after 9 months of bloody chasing every few weeks! ) got my bike & ride magazine subscription gifts through.
3. The insurer's of the doddering old fool who had me off my bike last December has finally accepted liability on his behalf. Again, like getting blood from a stone for the best part of a year, but thankfully sorted.

So, for the moment, nothing to worry about/have to chase people to do things. A wonderful feeling.

I know the feeling. Apart from extended bank holidays, I've not had a break since January.

Happy thoughts:- to be loved and to love. that is enough. If you have ever been truly lonely you will understand it doesn't matter who is in your life. Just as long as there is a special someone.

Here's a happy thought - the sight of several turbo hayabusa drag bikes, tearing up a quater mile strip along maderia drive along brighton sea front.

Speed trials, yesterday. Lost of black lines, lots of "oh s**t!!!!" moments as 400 bhp bikes try to kill their riders, lots and LOTS of beautiful sounds :D

And some fantastic cars too, including a ~1000 bhp nissan skyline
