Hi all, a quick IT question for you.

I just got my new PC delivered, and the muppets haven't put the firewire card in it like I asked. I have a LaCie external HDD with Firewire.
Can I get a converter so I can plug it into a USB?

Thanks!

not sure - try having a look on dabs.com to see if they do one

it's not too much hassle to buy a card and fit it

I know, but the problem is it'll invalidate my warranty and I can't be arsed to send it back to them to have them do it.

Clickety Click (http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPF-D_Link_DFB_H7_DFB_H7), that was quick! (Sorry, too much kids TV).

Plugs in to your computer by USB, gives 4 USB ports, 3 firewire. Magic!

Thanks Baph. Sayes it's adapter powered though, I really could do without yet another of those things under my desk!
I didn't see on there how much it cost, any idea?
