Well finaly i got a new set of disks for my bike as the old ones were totaly shagged.

They are not new as such, just better than what i had. They came from a hayabusa. They dont feal warped and look all fine under braking. Only thing is that on the left side of the bike (right side looking forward on wheel), the disk does not line up in the middle of the caliper, its a little to much on the left side of it. Now i know GSXR zero offset disks should center in the calipers. This side of the wheel the axle is directly bolted into the spacer thats there so unless its possable to tigthen the axle to much and move the wheel over i dont know.

When i look at the disk side on it looks a little like the center carrier is slightly off, but its all round and causing no issues braking.

Any ideas?.

Yep, forget about it if you can :) Only thing I can think, is that SRAD wheels are sided- you put one bearing in right to the seats, then put in the spacer and the second bearing goes to the spacer, rather than right to the seat. If it was done the other way round, the wheel might be a little offset- but then, that ought to make both discs out really.

To summarise- don't know :)

Well today looking closer to it i have found that the disk actualy runs abt 1mm of the side of the caliper.

I turned the wheel around, swapped the disks around, checked the calipers and even swapped the axle around.

I cant understand it, i will probably have to change back to the old disks and see if it did it on them.

Confirmed disks are bent again. Grrr.

I took them off and put a steel rule agains the backside of the disk and it shows the inner rotor being bent outwards which confirms the problem.

I wish i could just get a set of disks which are ok.

You can buy about 7 used sets for the price of one new set though. Anyway, you're a fine one to talk :)

Does appear to be all kinds of bent. Still, if it were me, I'd try it and see if it works. If it doesn't feel warped, and it works, I'd just use it I reckon.

I have used them, they sometimes touch the side of the caliper when braking, there are some score marks on the caliper where its touched, and yes they were bent before i fitted them as i put the ruler against the disks but did not want to beleave they are bent. Also for £100 i expect them to be good nick.
