very 8)
nice video editing aswell!
That is very cool. Any daylight vids?
Nice editing work...what software did you use for it?
Windows movie maker. Its not brilliant but it'll do.
Can't really do many daylight vids because me+mates are all at college and it makes it hard to meet up. But hopefully will be making some more this weekend.
Cheers for the comments, apologies for the quality, you-tube compresses the videos something drastic.

yeeeeeeeeeeeps man
very nice vid :P :D 8)
you repaired the bike the after the **** up with the oil?
me2 :D also doing some wheelies again  but did you ntoghing noticed yet with the engine because of wheeling??
keep up the good work and the front wheel !
Got another engine off ebay. BARGAIN.
Bike's all running smooth now and having now troubles with it, just have to keep an eye on the oil and it runs great.
Learnt to click it into second as well which means I can now take it to the motorways.

Only thing I didn't think works is the choice of music... No contrast in that Evanescence track, you want quietLOUDquiet for a stunt video. I've never heard Hell is for Heroes "5 Kids Go" or Refused's "New Noise" used for stunt videos, and they'd be perfect.

Say Davido have you changed the sprockets on your bike ?
Yours seems to wheelie so easy.
Nope, its exactly how Mr.Suzuki intended it to be. Minus the can. :p
Just down to practice really. Once you get the technique right you can pop them up pretty sharpish. Funny doing it away from the lights.
So,e guy in a BMW was right up my **** today so i flashed my brakelights and wheelied in front of him the whole way down the dual carriageway. He didn't look too impressed, but my mate on the back enjoyed it.

So in those vids, are you dropping the clutch in first, or power wheelieing in first?
On power alone, mine just shoots forward with a little lightening of the front, although I sit far forward usually and am fairly big...?
Clutch work. No way in hell are you power wheelieing an SV. Thoise of you with the naked version will appreciate the different gearing.
I'm not one for going round in hoodie, jeans and trainers normally, but I can't stand on the pegs right with my boots and my leathers restrict me too much, making it hard to balance.
Managed to pop a wheelie in first today and kock it through the gears up to 4th. Well chuffed. :)

looking good.... but didn't you break your last engine doing this??

ah ok, so I can give up with all this whacking on the power and just catapulting everywhere dangerously while trying to wheelie business :P

Im no wheelie king unfortunately but it IS possible to power wheelie one and get it up in first, without any clutch at all. I know from experience. Loved it to bits, but wasnt expecting it..... or the approaching speed hump!!
I wouldn't like doing it though. Its a lot safer with the clutch, so that's what I'd advise people to try.
Just roll along at about 15-20mph pull the clutch in and rev then drop. Repeat, gradually increasing amount of revs.
And about my last engine, I didn't check the oil and it was too low for what I was doing. Fine for everyday use, but not for being on the back wheel. Keep it full and its okay. provided you keep it on the back wheel for less than a mile.

another quick question, do you use all four fingers to pull the clutch in, or do you use two to retain a good hold on the handlebars?
I use two, but that's for a quick enough release, not grip. Its hard to let go of the clutch quick enough if you use all four fingers. Now I use two fingers all the time because I've gotten used to it. Looks racy. Cheap mod if you will. :p

its easy possible to power whelie the sv just roll arround 4000-5000 rpms cut of the gas for 1sec and snap it right back open :D -> wheelie 8)
here is my vid of powerwheeling the sv 650 K2 , still learning to get it in sec but had already a few close calls while trying
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xe4zYD9TI9g
enjoy it
 8) :D
oh not this again, TAKE THAT BLOODY MUSIC OFF NOW!
Good vid though. But in my mind (not the right definition, but how I see it) a power wheelie is just whacking on the power and not letting go. Rolling on and throttle chopping is a grey area.
Still good though. :) RESPECT.
I'll be there at the AR07 if anyone wants any pointers (Will sabotage big ape's trip) lessons will begin at £5 per head, per hour. :D
EDIT: Cheers Matt.

I am very tempted, but as I always say, I have no money, and only one form of transport. If I bin it I will cry for a week and regret it more than anything.
i just rev her up & slip the clutch

davido have you checked your head bearings and fork seals? cuz i'm thinking there taking some wear. evan keeping your oil topped up long wheelies will see your second engine off on the sv, you could do with a blandit or something they enjoy it on the back wheel. nice skills tho
Bearings are most likely f00ked, but the fork seals seem to be holding up fine. So does the engine for the time being. But I'm on the lookout for a cheap Hornet or CBR, so let me know if you hear of anything.
Cheers guys. :)

EDIT: Cheers Matt.
No need, I do not condone wheeling. It's silly and dangerous and should be avoided at all costs.
Oh, I was a bit dissapointed - I thought it'd be a grand shopping trip to all the largest Woolworths stores in the UK - instead I get a load of headlights bouncing around in the dark! :(

Learnt something else today. Quite chuffed.
Wheelie sat down, stand up while its on the rise, and sit down, then stand up, then sit down, then stand up, etc.

Make a wheelie video in the light now, I wanna see more clearly!
Got a little bit of fottage, but its a sort road, so they're not super duper amazing uber wheelies.
Just putting it together. Will post link shortly.

Thats a good video! Kind of shows the good the bad and the ugly, but its damn interesting I find. Do you always stand up to do high wheelies near the balancing point, or can you do them seated? The SV sounds way better than that IL4. Good stuff.
Can do seated, but I can't see where I'm going. Good for car parks, not for roads. When you lean out sideways to see it unsettles the bike sometimes, and when you stand up you don't get the 'oh sh*t I'm gonna fall backwards' reflex kicking in.
Can also kneel on the seat (not brave enough to stand yet) and have both feet on both back pegs, which means no back brake, but luckily the SV has engine braking to feed five.
But if you wanna learn it, standing up is the way to go once you've got the technique down. You'll go much longer.
EDIT" Good, the bad and the ugly? I'm slightly confuzzled. :D

The good: Some really nice long standing wheelies.
The bad: Some aborted attempts, and your mate on the IL4 can't get it up very well hehe.
The ugly: You are ugly.
The ugly: You are ugly.
Can't really argue with that one.
Ones that fecked up were trying to shift into second or when the kerb came at me with an evil look. Very first one is the pillion wheelie, as you can see its a very wobbly road. :)

nice skills davido! i do cringe tho seeing you in trainers.
does your mate on the il4 realize after watching that vid how good your bike sounds and how bad his gixer sounds
Well I'm usually one for full gear, but I can't stand up right on the pegs with my boots on.
And as for the gixer, that just goes to show how much stock sucks.
Sorry to drag this up, but I made another wheelie vid.
Enjoy. :D

Wicked, I love it! I love what that car must have been thinking just driving along behind you on the long wheelie half-way through the video. What is the massive puff of blue smoke when you let it down again though? Front wheel stopped and hitting the road again? Engine number 2 blowing up? ;)
Still I can't help but be reminded that pride comes before a fall; do take it easy out there man.

You've got some talent there boy, just don't get caught or crash.
