Kilted Ginger

On the way home from the stealers (see derailed) spotted a 2 bmw k12s 2 up and loaded to the sky, foreign plates with the riders pondering their maps. Was past before the brain registered so did the decent thing, u turned and went back to offer assistance.
They were lost, trying to get to balloch, (tried to talk them out of iy but they'd booked a room) and were just outside falkirk at the roundabout along from the wheel.
Their broken english (much better than my german or dutch) a map on which Edinburgh and glasgow were about 2 inches apart and their g/f / wives constant interruptions made ay reasonable directions useless.
So I said follow me and took them up through senic denny, trendy dunipace and socialite stirling to the start of the A811 (which was on their map) and sent them on their way (its pretty much a straight road to Balloch from there for anyone that isint local) Then headed home.
About a 25 mile detour all in, made me feel all warm and fuzzy and at one with the world again, oh and the lovely german lady said I was a verry nice man and i was treated to the biggest grins and thumbs ups i've seen in a while. Hope they have a nice holiday.
