Saturday Run!

Morning all,

Checked the weather and decided to go out with a few folk from Edinburgh on Saturday (good decision as Sunday was monsoon stylee weather!)

Me and 3 others down to Galashiels, onto Selkirk and then finish at St Mary Loch, where we meet a few others from Dumfries :D

Eat lunch, watched the world go buy (invaded by a bus load of wrinklies!! Seriously grannies that where well over 80! Like a swarm!!)

Back on bikes and back over the past Megget Res & Talla Res, on to A701 and home!

Good run that! I love hte bit of road near the Grey Mare's Tail, where you can only see about 20 metres ahead at a time. Too bad if you get stuck behind a caravan though :) But it's a ridiculously fun road.

superb bit of the country, did you take the 11 mile single track stretch across and past the reservoirs to Tweedsmuir ?

Yeah i think we did! Scenary was amazing, single track road, over and through glens and few big loch/res.

Beeped my horn at a sheep to scare it out of my way and it decided to try and charge me!! oops!! wont do that agian in a hurry!!

Luckily it thought better of it and ran off!! ahhaah!!
