Does anyone know what insurance group is SV 1000? I know SV650S is 10 and SV650 is 9 (not sure why really). But was wondering what will the SV1000 be?

Google is your friend (http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=sv1000s+insurance+group&btnG=Google+Search&meta=)
And if you're too lazy even for that, it's group 17.

INSURANCE GROUP: 17 POWER: 152bhp TANK SIZE: 17 litres January 19th 2006 ... lived until you've accelerated hard out of a corner on a Suzuki SV1000S. ...
The ... were separating reviews of the ZX10R and the sv1000 on the same page.
152bhp is a bit high for the SV1000
