A tad too small for a recent interested party.

Is the jacket armoured? Also does it have a zip for affixing trousers?

Ross.

FG1

Heed, yes and yes.

It has armour in shoulders and elbows and a "token gesture" back protector.

It has a zip to connect trousers (which also fits the Frank Thomas trousers I have)

what what size is LARGE then?

Is that ballet dancer large, normal large or BIKER large?

Got a sort of size in english sizes?

FG1
08-10-06, 02:15 PM
I am about a 40 ish and it is a tad loose on me. I would say that it will fit 42/44 easily enough.
Pop into HG and try one, then you will know how it fits, I think there is one up near John Street market (If I remeber the area)

FG1

Looks like it will have to be E Bay tomorrow then. If anybody is thinking about it and needs to try one on at HG let me know and I will hold off the E Bay route.

I genuinely couldn't let it go for less as it is such a deal. As you say, they are £100 new. I have no objection to keeping it and using it through the winter. You can have it for £25 in April....

BTW, How's the leather search going Hovi5 ??

:smt102 there is some on ebay HG tribal which i like & SHOULD fit.£80....or its £200 for HG celtics which i like......& can try on...BUT, i will not be needing leathers for a few months now..as i have textiles. will the celtics get any cheaper(prob not) i have made one cheap mistake on ebay due to size..not colour,do i risk ebay again or not?

bet you wish you never asked

I have to admit that I am also keeping an eye out for some leathers. I bought some off here a while ago and are pleased with them but if possible I am after 52 trs and 54 jacket. The ones I have are both 52 and the jacket could be just a tad bigger for extra comfort.

Thanks for the offer, but to be honest I don't expect to pay that much for a new one at the show. They will be falling over each other to get rid of the old stock.

Good Luck

so what is that in uk sizes?
i realy dont know what to do HG celtic @ £200 are a good buy. cant be @rsed to go to bike show 4 deals ....i keep an eye on ebay but if they dont fit that good your back to square one.& probaly end up paying £100 with postage from ebay....so its the celtics for me....i think.......if i could get em for £150 ..................why am i sooooooo tight?

FG1
03-11-06, 09:12 PM
The trousers are 42/52, I am a 32-34 ish waist and there is spare room in the waist.
I am a regular leg length and they fit inside boots well.
The jacket is a 42/52, I am about 40 ish chest and the jacket is very snug.
I am about 5'8" tall and they fit fine in the legth of things.
I tried HG Celtics on a while ago and if I remember right, I was more like a 40/50 trousers and it was a toss up between 42/52 and 44/54 jacket.
Hope that helps.
If you do manage to get the Celtics for £150 let me know and I will have some also. Possibly do a deal with a shop if we get 2 sets at the same time........
