Sorry for the rediculously stupid question
Whats the difference between a Fender Extender and a belly pan?
What gives better protection when riding during the winter?
Cheers

Fender extender - this little plastic thing extends the front mud guard to stop water and cr@p getting into the front spark plug. A Must Have for wet / winter riding.
Belly pan - again plastic, sits under the bike / engine, does nothing to aid wet / winter riding BUT IMO finishes off the look of the bike
HTH
A fenda extenda is an extension to the back of the front mudguard, usually fitted to prevent water getting into the front cylinder plug cap and causing a misfire.
A belly pan is fairing type attachment fitted to the bottom of the engine and is largely cosmetic. (see piccy)

get both :D
get both :D
Yep, get both as a belly pan stops cr@p getting on the oil filter and lower bits
