View Full Version : Suzuki SV replacement bombshell!

Peter Henry

What are they doing? Apparently with falling sales and the pressure from ever tighter EEC regulations the poor old SV is to be phased out in favour of this sporty little number! :?

Apparently Suzuki state that the styling and performance are very similar to what the present SV owner has become used to.

There you go, a buyer question if ever I saw one!

I hope you have noticed the cunningly positioned crash bungs? A sort of reminder of Spartacus and his chariot race? :)

Looks like Suzuki have hired the same guy who designed the 749/999 Ducati's

Fizz...Indeed Ducati's first machine to be designed with a multi purpose role in mind. It's stream lined bodywork echoes the racing heritage and the blazing red paintwork leave no guesswork as to which fine stable this leading edge machine comes from.
Powered by a punchy 2 volt battery this machine is by no means aimed at the SV hearted.

The utility hitch can as shown in the picture be used for keeping the driver out of umbrella prod distance and incoprporates a quck release device for the attachment of a portaloo with racing lines.

When it comes to styling, the boys in the Suzuki design office can only turn green with envy.

Peter, now be honest (for once :P ) I can feel you lusting after one of these machines from here !!

But, & I know put bluntly like this it's gonna hurt - the truth often does - I'm afraid you couldn't handle the massive power increase that this machine offers over your 'ickle dooky wooky - could you ? :P

And yet another succumbs to the common sense approach offered by this rather racey new addition to the Suzuki line.

I can see Supervox right now figuring out how he can admit to the world that the Ducati option makes more sense for him and a "two up" toddler kit available as an accesory is proving very appealing.

I don't want one. I don't think I could cope with the power. Also as its looks such a high performance speedy machine. I'm wandering about the insurance costs as well.

Whats a bet it puts out more torque than the SV.

I will happily consider one at the right vintage - best factor it into my retirement planning =P~ =P~ =P~

Ah...the Suzuki B-Wing (B standing for Bingo)

I reckon we should slam it on the desck, some chrome spinners, neons, multi flip paint job and a biatching sound system, and all will be cool.

Anyhoo, thats the replacement for the Suzuki Swift

Poor old Jambo. If he can mistake "co-ordination" with "conference" then perhaps he should be seeking out a runabout like this? A little safer for him than potteing about on two wheels with Mr.Magoo like visual capabilities.
