You should have posted that clip where he had that 400 and then wussed out just after Bridge!

(thank god you weren't videoing in my group - now that would've been embarrassing! :oops: :lol: )

Also, that second clips was pretty good - what group were you in?

there was a guy in our garage in the novice group on an F4

both clips are from the inters group

We were in garage 5C if I remember rightly, as weazelz said, there was a MV in our garage, carbon bodywork. Not sure he was being filmed mind???

If you look at our avatar’s do you recognize the bikes? i.e. mine scruffy yella race fairing with the camera fitment on the RHS, weazelz standard bodywork, but a scruffy looking bumblebee colour scheme?

And yes we were in inters.

Where were you? What were you riding?

I didn't do Silverstone this year unfortunately ;-( - it was my mate on the F4 SPR with carbon bodywork. He mentioned there were 5 SV's in the same garage and I thought he said he'd spoken to you.

He's should be in the intermediate group but his company were filming him as they are doing profiles for their Exec Directors for their in-house TV. They did a few shots in the garage, pitlane and Becketts so he went in novice so they could catch him overtaking - sad boy! :lol:

Yeah we said hi etc :)

It was good to see a bike like that actually being used as god intended rather than just polished :) Looked like it had already seen some kitty litter at some point mind :lol:

He did a Donington day with Niall MacKenzie in August and dropped the bike in the kitty litter at Coppice on the first lap right in front of him and broke his collarbone - still kept riding all morning but scratched the fairings. :lol:

Its easy to be caught out by Coppice - im sure theyve re profiled it - it used to be really wide, and when i did Haslam race Academy in 03 they had it coned off where the kerb is now...

So first time cresting the hill - its there and quite tight ! , my mate messed up horribly ( i was following) and he lamost wen6t straight on....easy to do !

Lovely video Blue_SV650S! That one of you riding has some lovely tussles, one about halfway through where a guy on a larger IL4 keeps you at bay a bit with his speed but you nail him, and the last bit with the dead quick flip-over at the chicane. Awesome stuff, wish there was footage of it in 3rd person!

Ta :) to be fair I should really move group if I want to ‘get my thang on’ as although my moves are clean, I might cr@p someone up and cause them to wobble off!! That would not make me very happy … them neither I think it is safe to presume!! :lol: Good for the ego to rip through like that mind :wink:

That chicane is a bit of a ‘mare … but I think I have found a solution to it now, a lot of people take the line that bloke on the orange bike at the end did, that line really compromises the exit … so Blue_ takes advantage of this and gets the run on them … sometimes I can hold them off before the next turn … if I don’t then I just have to go round the outside again :lol:

there were a few close overtakes (acts of faith that the ride wont slide off!) but nothing dangerous - so that was the inter group - you must have been flying!
