ive just had a leather jacket and i was thinking this same question? my jacket is the right size and the arms are plenty long enuf but the body does seem abit tight :? now i'm not a fat git so ive just put it down to the fact that i'm used to textile jackets not leather.
Depends on how sweet your @*se is

 well, they didnt look pink in the picture on ebay, honest
Leather does stretch so you should take this into account. I'd say 'close but not uncomfortably so' is a good start for new leathers.
After a short while they'll bed in stretch to fit so to speak.
But if they're second hand leathers - without seeing them or knowing how much wear they've already hand then it's difficult to say. They may have stretched as far as they're gonna go - but I doubt it if they're in a good enough condition to be selling on.
I'd wear them for a bit, maybe even just round the house for a couple of evenings with a fleece or something underneath. Give the stretching a bit of a head start. :?

Sit on the bike in a racing crouch. If the collar chokes you and you can't bend your legs enough to put them on the pegs then they're too tight.
My HG's fit lovely on the bike but have a baggy **** when walking around, price you pay s'pose.
Behave Trampie...he's a bloke! :?
.....and your point is, Mr H.
The purchasing of pink leathers is an act which, you have to admit, is a wide deviation from existing notions of "bloke masculinity". Indeed is suggest to me that he is more than secure with his sexuality. Therefore, I'm sure that if Hovis' form is fine, no matter the hue of the hide that covered it, he would graciously accept the odd leer or two from a mature and discerning red-blooded female.

I do NOT want to see how tight Hovi5 leathers are.
Women are free to post examples of how tight they should be though.

I got a set of leathers on Ebay too, they looked red in the photo but when they arrived they were a lurid pink!
Trouble is they fit me perfectly, so I only venture out wearing them at night...although I have a photo it's best if I don't.
No helmet to cover my face you see...

Depends, if you want to sign Staying alive properly they should be as tight as possable, I'm talking shoe horn and vasaline....
If its for day-to-day bike riding, maybe not that tight ;)
Anyone else look at that photo and think "TRON" ?
Does your bike leave a glowing blue wall behind it when you ride and take corners remarkably well?

One of my instructors said "Leathers should be like handcuffs. Tight enough to stay on, not so tight that you lose the feeling in your hands"

In all honesty, I would get rid of the complete setup you have going there!
Your lid is way too small for you. The leathers are way too tight in all the wrong places, for god sake man you can't even do them up properly!!!
Find yourself a few hunderd bucks and go down to a decent bike shop and spend some money. There is no point in buying cheap crap off ebay that A does not fit, B is unsafe, C makes you uncomfortable on your bike, therefore distracting your attention from the road and to screwing about with adjusting yourself, and D looks that bad!
I know what I am talking about fit wise btw, I have a history of working in bike shops selling clothes and parts
