Great Kwak, a nice clean looking garage there. TV noted. Also like the piece of carpet on the floor. You want to get that concrete painted for a paddock look ;)

belive it or not its not at its best in that pic, i have once hoover'd the concrete floor with the dyson and my wife watching shaking her head
the carpet was wall to wall but it kept getting damp so theres just a bit in the middle now for me baby. the roof was also leaking in places so i put a butil rubber liner over the top and now its dry and snug
ill post a pic of mine tomo as im just out the shower, ive only shorts on and im not going outside now 8)
For nostalgic reasons grinch, care to post a pic so we can share your loss?
Jeez, I'm probably more embarrassed by the state of my garage than the state of my bike. You can be so cruel!
http://upload4.postimage.org/1316600/cbr.jpg (http://upload4.postimage.org/1316600/photo_hosting.html)
Concrete floor sealed and painted grey. Bike on rubber backed carpet (2 metres of doormat stuff). Far right corner, folding chair for sitting on and admiring bike. Far left corner, out of shot, lawnmower. Other than that, it's empty.
Looks similar to my garage greg however ive got quite a lot more stuff in. Thankfully ive got a loft in there with the apex roof so ive put most of it in the loft

Mines discusting compared to you lot.... Maybe I'll do a picture this weekend :(
.
I am a bit obsessive about keeping it clean. Also, it was only built 2 years ago so it hasn't had time to accumulate any cr@p (& I won't let it either!).
House is not in the same state though...
Edit: and I really need to put a shelf up in the garage, can't keep the can of lube/muc off/chain cleaner etc on the kitchen work surface for ever.

Perfect garage- it's exactly the size of a family car, making it impossible to get out once parked, so it's been abandoned to the bike :)
I used to have a garage, but now it's the barbican carpark.

Yes, 1981 Trials 200. Did a complete rebuild on it winter 2004. (All new plastics, replaced all the bearings, powdercoated the frame, new tyres, wheels re spoked etc)
Sadly I wasn't really getting the use out of it so I sold it about 2 months ago (old photo). It looked like it had just rolled out of the factory and always got tons of attention when I did an event on it.

2 results for: narcistic
1 : inordinate fascination with oneself; excessive self-love; vanity
2 : Psychoanalysis. erotic gratification derived from admiration of one's own physical or mental attributes, being a normal condition at the infantile level of personality development.

Some nice looking garages there, you get a feel for the level of handywork going in on those. I like the look of Jims - Jim what is that on the walls? It looks like some kind of insulation. I think its the sofa that finishes it for me.

robchester -youre right -its insulation in between the studs ,its a work in progress building that ,and re the leather couch ,id just made the garage watertight and we had bought a new suite ,the old one was put in there to make space for its replacement in the house ,and its just stayed there .its ace just crashing out amid that 'used bike aroma' just need the telly now and btw ive added a fridge for those neccesities i.e beer .have to get the priorities right now

So you don't want that jar of lovely raspberry jam or truffles!!! I stand corrected i don't HAVE to ply with goodies but it makes me feel better for taking up space
**Ponders a quick tidy up of garage for another bike space ** :-k
If i can make room for yer bike.. can i get the jam an truffles
The Truffles are to die for and extremely rare and the jam is pure heaven on fresh baked scones....just wish Quedos had more bikes and I had more space
If i can make the 12th I'll make a hug batch of truffles and bring them with me.
Al - there is more jam there and you deserve more than truffles after that territorial bike you have had to put up with. ( i shall see what i can do!)
If i can make the 12th

Cheers Rob - the pic is Passo Gavia (around 2600m) in Italy on my way from the Switzerland through to the Dolomites earlier this year. It was a bumpy one - but excellent fun and views.
Pix show that a lot of peeps keep their leathers in the garage. I like to keep mine in the house as they get cold and damp otherwise. But Mrs often banishes them and I end up getting changed in the garage. Brrr.

That's his flying carpet, if he doesn't keep it chained to the bike it'd float out the window.
