Beenz

Had a quick chat with the Doc, peeps are meeting at Abergavenny to save waiting around. Theres an increasing chance I might not make it as the clouds are getting pretty dark overhead and I'm nor sure if I can be bothered to get soaked early in the day.

Had a check of the weather and it should be fine, though I can see a couple of clouds...

So I think I will chance it. See you at Abba Bus station. Not really sure what time I'll make it there but will leave now.

There was a large population of Female bikers at the bus station... most of which according to Rich confirmed the the findings of another thread on the forum

Did he stop at Usk then ?

Perhaps thats the answer. Although I wasnt going that quick today it would still have to have been a 'quickie'

valleyboy
08-10-06, 08:29 PM
Well, we know how quick he can ride his bike when he wants to.. maybe he can be just as quick at other things as well!

squirrel_hunter
08-10-06, 08:50 PM
Hold it there guys!

There was no stopping at Usk, though I did think about it. We will just have to wait and see so until then :-$

But on a slightly different subject have I seen someone venture onto that thread?

Was it dry for you two on the way back ? It absolutley ****ed down as I was going along the heads of the valleys.... even though I was only doing 80.. I decided to put my **** up in the air, and head under the screen.. as it had been polished earlier in the day, the rain flew straight off that, so at least I could see where I was going again!

I have noticed Rich has stumbled into there.... though I think stumble would be too subtle a word!

Quite true... But have you noticed who else has been there?

Weather stayed good for us, bit windy and a little chilly as I neared home. Also hit a bit of traffic on the M4, the aftermath of an accident, looks like someone needs a new Ka.

Rich, ....................... you are a %$^7^%$$^%&&^^ :evil:

I looked out and thought, this is gorgeous, can't afford to miss a ride in good weather on a Sun this late in the year :)

Checked the site, but nothing posted (0845!!)
Who's number do I have for a short notice ride, shall I ring Rich?.........no, he's under the weather, so off I pootle and had a lively 3 hour ride in great (traffic free) conditions. The only improvement would have been company and a longer ride :(

Ah well, ....................what's the weather like for this Sun? :smt102

We sat at Abergavenny for a good few hours... then pootled off towards Talgarth.. where I startled a Pheasant... which decided to charge at Rich's bike then  got to Talgarth.. turned around.. and did the road again.... weathers getting a bit crap to do that road at any good pace... going round corners wondering if it was wise to be going so fast  then Rich and Squirrel overtook me and buzzed off into the distance

I'll be better informed tomorrow, as I will take it to a minimum of 2 places tomorrow.... I'd like someone to listen to it properly, maybe with teh screwdriver up against the ear trick.. as something isnt sounding right at the bottom end of the engine!
