View Full Version : FIRST CRASH IN NEED OF PARTS

I AM HAVE SNAPPED REAR BRAKE PEDAL, FRONT RIGHT INDICATOR, AND UPPER AND LOWER FAIRING NEEDS REPLACING.
I HAVE 2001 SV650S YELLOW CURVY - CAN ANYONE HELP ME SOURCE THESE PARTS?

I had the same damage except I have no lower fairing after my 1st drop 2 weeks ago. Parts like these are hard to come by 2nd hand as the brake pedal in particular always snaps if the bike is dropped onto it's right hand side.

A new pedal is £61 :o
Indicators can be had cheaply.
Fairings aren't cheap unless you get a good 2nd hand buy.

Sorry to hear about you having an accident. I think I have the original indicators I took off my 2000 S if theyre any use?

You are shopping in the wrong place then.

Mine was £37 +VAT from Infinity - they dont seem to have charged me for fitting (had it done while in for service)

Don't forget SRAD foot rests and pedals are the same :wink:
A couple of them on ebay at the mo....and if you get any with any other parts eg, master cylinder & pegs, you could sell them on to some one like me :D

I found this on ebay, would it fit my SV650S 2001 do you reckon ?

not sure if you are going to be able to see that ?

Hiya H,

Sounds identical to my prang. That footpedal looks about right.

I got everything I needed to fix my bike here and on eBay. You should really post your request to the "Stuff Wanted" forum though.

Hope your OTR soon :-)
