Anyone fancy an early morning coffee run upto Foxes Diner on Sunday morning. Aim to leave off the A30 around 7.30am and get there around 9am for coffee and a bite to eat. Should be home by 11.30am. Foxes Location Map (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=A4074,+Berinsfield,+South+Oxfordshire,+Oxfordshi re,+OX10&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=10&ll=51.649555,-0.973663&spn=0.362133,1.373291&iwloc=A) Easy roads and should be nice and quiet.

Update: So just to clarify, there are two meeting points:
7.30am at Egham (BP Servo) (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=TW20+0AX&ie=UTF8&z=14&ll=51.434588,-0.553951&spn=0.022741,0.085831&om=1&iwloc=A)
and then 8:30am at Bracknell (Sainsburys Servo) (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=TW20+0AX&ie=UTF8&z=14&ll=51.434588,-0.553951&spn=0.022741,0.085831&om=1&iwloc=A)

might be up for this, I'd probably come back via the Apes place and crash a brew though.

This should be the Guildford rideout day - why not join us?

Guildford rideout still needs route sorted, and depends on weather and other things. Weather forecast says sunny intervals for Guildford on Saturday so hopefully Sunday will be sunny as well.

If the rideout doesn't go ahead I will be up for this.

Ah sorry Falc - didnt mean to hijack a day out. I looked for the details last night and couldnt find the thread - have my glasses back on this morning so can we postpone coffee morning for a couple of weeks if the Guildford ride is this weekend? Let us know the details...

I would suggest you didn't see it because it's stickied.
I for one always ignore sticky posts thinking they are old stuff.

Didn't really notice threads dropping of the first page of the GM too quickly anyway

seen the post with a poll for a date and read through it, no definative date mentioned though or route or start location ?

No matter I'll find somewhere to go this weekend anyway.

Cheers Mark.

Thats cool Gmonsta, no date was set I was just throwing things out there seeing what people wanted. As Rictus said there was no definate date or route set. I think you should go for the Sunday rideout and get as many people as you can do go.

Not sure I can do this Sunday but go for it, ive been a bit caught up of late but ill post a route and sort out the stickied thread for the rideout in a mo

Cool - so game on.

If convenient enough I suggest 7.30am at the BP/Ferarri Roundabout on the A30 in Egham. Map (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=TW20+0AX&ie=UTF8&z=14&ll=51.434588,-0.553951&spn=0.022741,0.085831&om=1&iwloc=A)

Probably just follow our noses through Ascot/Windsor/Slough behind the Thames up through Maidenhead and back of Reading ect. Roads should be quiet enough to make good time.

I'll be up for that

I know a good route through Wokingham and out through Henley keeping to Twisty a/b roads with some nice high speed trunk roads if you wanna meet somewhere ?????????????????????

You could do A30 to Bagshot and then on to the A322 into Bracknell, Coral Reef roundabout. There is a big Sainsburys just past that roundabout on the left, could be a meeting point for everyone ???????

It's about a good 45min's to and Hour of Hooning it from there :D

Here you go.....................

Ringmead
Bagshot Road
BRACKNELL
Berkshire
RG12 7SS

It's on the A322 towards Bracknell, as you go over the Coral Reef Roundabout you'll come to a big set of traffic lights, keep left and the sainsburys is on the left, i'll see you all in the petrol station.

Shall we give it till 8.30 for others to meet, as they have a coffee thingy in the petrol station (i think) first ones there and i'll buy, how's about that !! or a can of Red Bull

Hmmm, Fox's for breakie..... I may join you for this, if I can get a pass....

There is a great route to Fox's if you go via the A355 (Slough) onto the A413 to Aylesbury, pick up the A418 then A329 down to the A4074 at Shillingford.

You can then come back via the 4130 into Henley.... Just a thought.

Hope to see you on Sunday

Got no problem with that except it misses one of my fav roads so from the garage at Egham

A30 down to Wentworth
Right up the Ascot road A329
Cut left down Broad Lane onto the A322
Over a couple of roundabouts and turn back for Sainsburys

Cheers Mark.

Steve, Same way I was thinking of going up - although dont know the road names.

It will be easier for some to join in Wokingham so lets stick to this (with Rictus's inclusions) and come back down yours on the Route back.

Hope to see you Sunday.

Is it ok for me to join in on this? I know I'm not a member of the Guildford Massive, but I live in Bracknell and the Sainsburys is local to me.

PS what is needed to join the Guildford massive? Do I need to slaughter a goat? Lap the Nurburgring Nordschliefe in under 2 mins? Or a bag of Haribo Starmix for everyone? (on offer in Tesco at the moment) :D

Of course you can. We should be there around to 8.00am - leaving at 8.30am. You qualify for membership through your address - turn up and it will be officiated (is that a word). I will be at the Bracknell meet point at 8am on the dot (well i do live approx 3 minutes away) hahahahahahahaha

Fuel up there please as to avoid any fuel stops and we'll stick to an 8.30 departure

hope thats ok for everyone

p.s. as a warning about breakfast at fox's diner, don't bother with the £5 english breakfast as it's fooking horrid and a right rip off, however the egg and bacon buttie is very nice !!!!!
Just depends on how you like your salmonella poisioning

As i'll be leading you lot (GULP) i'll be taking it fairly easy until we get out of wokingham and out onto open roads so at junctions please expect me to pull up and wait for a minute or two just to make sure we keep everyone together( so don't steam past please). I'll do a head count b4 we leave just to be safe, hopefully my mate will be with me so he'll take up the tail-end -charlie position just to make sure we all keep together. I can't think of anything else, but feel free to add anything that you would like to add. Plus we have Jelster/ Rictus/ Rich so i dont see any probs as these are all old hands at this sort of thing. Fun ride out this morning, despite my drop! Many thanks to Jester for saving me from another one in Reading on the ride back.

The ride made me realise how poor my riding skill is! Once I have the seat and/or suspension lowered, invest in some further training methinks!

Thanks guys for a good morning ride

Did the A286, A272 and then up the A29 towards Boxhill, tis a good run that.

The route ive suggessted in the other thread, was a route down to the top of the A272 then all the way across to the A29 and up. The A286 has some good bits but generally if there are alot of 30 and 40 zones.

Thanks law. Though I had a sit on Stu's bike on Sunday, which I was impressed with. Hyperpro sell 50mm longer dog bones, which I'm gonna invest in. I'll try that first. Depending on how I get on, I'll look for a used seat and get that scooped out (and save the original should I sell the bike on).

Jester, no worries about you blasting ahead. I was only going one junction anyway; Jct 10.

If those of you who dont know it, Jct 10 M4 has a great corner (Bracknell/Wokingham bound). Just watch out for those who hog the outside lane
