Came home today and there's a massive box in the hall, about 30 litres or so. Exciting! Opened it up, lots of those big bubble things. Took them out. More bubbles. Threw them out of the box with impatient glee. More bubbles. No! Wait! There's something in here"
2 indicator bulbs, and a stock note saying "We'll send the rest later".
M&P- destroying the planet one oversized box at a time.

Lol, what else were you expecting?
In the world which i work, reprographics, i laugh at your box!! I had a huge, and i mean, a 6' person could have curled up in it, box delivered a couple of weeks ago. And what was in this monster? A Tower PC, lots of moulded foam. The keyboard/screen etc was in another oversized box!!
What with this and the boxes out envelopes come in..its shocking i can tell ya.
Anyway, whay on earth are you buying your indicator bulbs from M&P?

Hard to find a small 21W bulb that'll fit in a Buell indicator, y'see. Plus I was buying some other Sekrit Stuff.
They pack stuff so it won't get damaged and you moan? No pleasing some folk!
If you have some bodywork arrive and it's in one sheet of bubble wrap and brown paper, somebody, somewhere, needs a kicking.
Hard to find a small 21W bulb that'll fit in a Buell indicator, y'see. Plus I was buying some other Sekrit Stuff. They old 2 lens jobbies? I took the inner orange lens out and replaced them with those highly expensive irridium bulbs...before that, plain orange 21w indicator bulbs.

Just got regular clear 21W ones- but all the ones I could find were the big 'uns like in the SV, they didn't fit...

Science is the worst for that, we get deliveries of 1 small vial containing 100 microlitres of stuff in boxes about the size of a large TV. Totally pointless.

Yup, sounds about right...
...but then if you have just ordered a couple of expensive Grade A burretes for your chemistry lab, you dont want it delivered in some crappy little box...

how much were they & do they do orange ones? i had to buy some of the bulbs you mention, i.e. ones for mini indicators, in 21W form (came with 8W ones :? ) - they cost me about £3 each from infinity in clapham!

If you want orange bulbs go down your local Hobbycraft or some such place and buy a small pot of orange glass paint and a brush.
After all - it's generally all that some manufacturers do.
Is Northy still going on about his huge package?

Not so much the size of the package, more the anticlimax that followed ;)
Muffles, they were dirt cheap, 50p each or something. But it'd have cost about a fiver for p&p- I was ordering other stuff at the same time so it made sense. They're clear though.
