Looks pretty guff in my opinion.

Exhaust looks pants, I hate the location of it. Could have shoved it under the seat.

naaah, its lost the plot. I used to like my 2001 Hornet for its uniqueness, like the exhaust etc. That just looks like every other bike out there.

Just to be sure I ran it past my 13 yr old style guru, Jess;

Nah... I'll take the '06 model, please. This one looks too much like a GSR600-killer-wannabe. It might grow on me, though.

I like the pictures of it but will wait unitl I see one at the NEC. Remember how excited you all were about the GSR600 last year?

From what I've seen I like the new look, but I wouldn't trade in my '03 one for it until one of the mags has one on long-term test.

I think it has an older gerneration fuel-injected CBR engine but if they've retrofitted "Euro 3 injection" on it then there could be issues like on other bikes, e.g. GSR600 and the new Fazer1000. I'll keep my lovely carbs for now :lol:

In reality, I'm not going to think about swapping my bike (it's going really well atm) until they update the Hornet 900.

Its so dark and shiney ligthing effects you could make anything look good. Although it probably is good.

Very GSR looking but with an 05/06 GSXR1000 can. Have Honda ran out of original ideas then?

Very nice.

Looks like the best bits of the Z750, GSR and Fazer but not bad at all.

I would buy it...oh wait, it's a Honda :wink:

The dash is very comprehensive, I hope it's alloy and not alloy looking plastic.
I'd also be interested in seeing what aftermarket cans will look like. The standard underbelly is pretty damn ugly with that forward projection. I suppose lambda sensor positioning may make removal of this impossible...
When's the NEC again?
