Hi All.

Just a word or warning. 3 months ago I purchased a pair of Frank Thomas Aqua Boots. On friday I did my usual 15 minute commute. Well my left foot was soaked and my right foot slightly wet.

I may just have been unlucky but I got my money back and bought a pair of Oxtar Goretex Touring boots. Hopefully These will keep me dry.

D'you know what? Exactly the same happened to me, and I got exactly the same boots as a replacement. They're brilliant. A year old, worn in all weathers and still holding up well. Make sure you wear your trousers outside your boots tho', otherwise you end up with runoff in your boots...

Not that I've ever done anything that silly or anything...

yup, don't think much of it either. I've had a pair of boots that leaked and very definitely did NOT keep my feet warm and also a pair of gloves that were also incredibly crap.

I have Frank Thomas Aqua jacket, trousers and gloves... and its more like Frank Thomas in Aqua so I'm not surprised about the boots.

Yep, i went to a shop to get some waterproof trowsers and even the sales guy agreed with me that FT was rubish.

Ive got some Alpinestars SMX waterproof boots, as of yet they have been fine, Sarj had a pair and said they were realy realy good. I was lucky and got mine new at £70.

I've got a pair of FT Aqua Vent, they've only just started to develop a very, very slight leak after two years.
