my mate changed the oil the other day on his xb12r, the oil HD gave him was 20/50 :shock: he check'd the owners manual and this appears to be correct but it says if you cant get HD oil any DIESEL oil will do. :wink:

it does handle really well at but to get rid of the awsome vibes you need to be moving along abit.

I rode an XB9R. Handled well but sputtered on the throttle out of every hard corner. It scared my hair off. It didnt inspire confidence like my curvy in the corners with smooth acceleration but rather came in a big rush when the bike straightened out. Looks hot though

One of the great SV Rider debates is about diesel oil... A lot of people use Rotella diesel oil in their bikes (a Shell product), apparently it's close to an ideal bike oil in terms of anti-shear, lifespan etc. I don't know why this is though... Paging Andy Auger, if he's still a member here...

I think the XB12R is one of the few bikes that looks like it was beamed down from another planet! Awesome! 8)
