If I could have a bike for three grand it would have to be one of them tasty things with the four little exhaust pipes coming out from under the saddle whose name escapes me right now but normally retails around 14k...bargin!!

Oh...that's not what you meant...hmm....

£3000... If I didn't have an SV, that'd be the answer. I'd buy that Falco that someone on here is trying to sell. Or I'd see if that'd buy a Duke 2. Or, some wreck to build a streetfighter out of, R6 maybe.

If I had £3k and could keep my current bike as well it would probably be some kind of sportsbike, probably an older Fireblade :)

I'd probably spend the 3 grand on re-doing the paint job on the 'Storm. 8) I'd keep it in the Repsol colours but there are a lot of stone chips on it so they could do with being sorted. With whats left over I'd get the wheels painted or powdercoated Repsol orange and put any leftover money towards a set of hi-level cans, preferably Scorpions. Thats what is on there at the mo and it sounds awesome

Just a thought.

If I had to spend the money on a different bike it would probably be a ZX12R.

I'd buy a TL1000s, scare myself ****less, and then sell it and buy something safer.

there not as bad as people first made out, just inexperienced riders riding them. a recent bike mag said that its only the same as riding a current sports bike with that much bhp.

I read a roadtest on them and it was only dangerous for 8 stone weaklings. us fat blokes should be ok as we can compress the damper :P

Last Year I bought my ZX6R 2001 J model for about that and would do it over again, but if I was buying a 2nd bike It'd probably be an SV1000, Bandit12 or some sort of KTM just something upright and toquey 8)

Or A ZX7R like he just said =P~

Duke 916 as a summer toy.I'd have to keep my real bike for if I needed to get anywhere though.
In the real world you can get a good late ZX9R for that which is cheap performance and a sensible every day bike.

No-one mention a TDM900?

I wonder why no?

I seem to like them nowadays and they still keep my no-inline-4 rule intact.

See what they sell for in a years time.

I love the TDM, personally, but it's not in the list of bikes I'd buy just now. If they still make them in a few years time I'll probably snap one up.
