That was on today... I'd forgotten how good it was. Even if that Delorean did have a 1.1 engine in it- it took about 40 seconds to get to 88.

Interesting fact: My ex-girlfriends dad played a big role in building the ACTUAL delorean that was used in back to the future. true story!

What? The DMC-12 had a 2.8 engine.

My Dad worked indirectly for John, when they went bust he (my Father) bought 'a few' and shipped them to South Africa and made a pretty penny.

I know. But in the film, it takes about 40 seconds to get to 88, and nearly gets outrun by a VW bus. So presumably he'd replaced the engine with a nice little diesel to make space for more Weird Flashing Stuff. Same as Tom Cruise's Speed Triple :)
