There must be something in the air at the moment as everyone seems to be trading up their SV's. Well mine is currently up for sale and advertised everywhere, so will soon be off. So what instead?? Well, my new set of wheels is light, cheap to run, and best of all, I can keep it in the office/flat so don't have to worry about theft!!

He is the wee beasty!

Oh, I also bought one of these :D :

Will still hang around here as I really like everyone here. Plus, the plan is to ride less on the road and more on the track, so will be keeping an eye out for any SV'ers on track. Think I'm done for this year though - Haven't picked up the bike yet, got to run it in, plus I'm poor!!! but looking forward to next year.

Thanks
Luke

I love the R6 in black 8)

Is it the 06 or 07 model you went for?

Yeah, sports bikes live for the track ... see you at the next one :)

06 - Got a rather nice deal as well because of this!

Can't wait to get it on the track!

I don't think they are making any mods for 07 (apart form normal paint prolly) for 07 anyway are they?!!? So thats what I would have done too :)

Plenty of trackdays left in 06 ... prices are good this time of year too :)

Ideal to run your bike in on a trackday, that's the only way you can run it in properly (flat out).

As much as I would love to before the year is out, I'm making an effort to pay off the last of the bike before next year, so will be a little short of cash.

Awesome machine built for speed.

The R6 ain't bad either. I have to admit I hated the R6 when I first saw the new design but it's slowly growing on me. Still would rather have a gixxer though but that's personal pref (and I've never owned a gixxer).

Enjoy mate! :D

Riding in on the Brompton was pretty quick today - overtook a couple of racers and pretty much got rid of the chicken strips! Thing about cycling in, is my mum is over the moon that I'm no longer biking in everyday, though ironically I am far more vulnerable and now probably more at risk of being knocked off! Still, she's happy!
