No, but cats catch mice and big spiders and things like that. I think theyre just smart enough to leave all that other dangerous crap to the stoopid dogs to do.
Put it this way, if i had the choice of being out in any weather chasing crims that could stick me with a knife..... or be at home by a warm fire or radiator, snoozing all day and getting lots of attention from that pretty girl who feeds me, i know what i'd choose.

They never get stuck. Those one are just the attention seekers who dont get enough love at home.
How many dogs can get past the first branch, let alone high enough to get stuck? None. You know why?

Maybe the cat poo on your veg is keeping the slugs away and fertilising it it for free for you? Maybe theyre trying to be your friend?

For the record I like both cats and dogs, the only animals I have an active dislike for are mosi's and midges.

Those pics are great. I always hated cats because anytime I see one in the street they want nothing to do with you. But then I got my own (took home a stray that had been running round at work) and he's a big softie!
Talking of cat poop, usually I let the cat out before I go to work because he doesn't have a litter tray so he does his business outside. But one day I forgot to let him out and was sure he'd have made a mess of the carpet somewhere. But when I came home at lunchtime and went into the bathroom, what did I find but a little pile of poo on the floor of the shower!! He knew pooing on the carpet was a no-no, and decided to avail of the hard, clean surface of the shower floor, thus making the clean up job all the easier for me! Clever boy! I was laughing the rest of the day :lol:

Yep, that confirms that all cats are ultra intelligent.
Anyway, I would not want to tell a Bengal Tiger that a dog is better than him............assuming he could understand me of course! #-o
