View Full Version : Anyone in Bristol got nuts?
Well it's not actually nuts I'm looking for, it's a bolt.
The bolt that holds the mounting bracket for the horn on Vix K6 bike has vanished and I need to refit it but can't find a suitable bolt to fit.
Does anyone local to bristol have a garage stocked with jars of nuts and bolts I could have a rummage through? Or does anyone know a shop where they stock nuts and bolts loose (i.e. not sealed in plastic bags) so I can try to find the right fit?
Ta.
You could moan at the Suzi dealer, it's still under warranty. They should get you the right bolt for nout.

Don't think I have any spare bolts like that.
Hate to say it but your probably better off poping down to Fowlers parts.
Just rember to take out a loan to pay for it, some sandwiches and 'War and Peace' for the wait and a large stick to beat the idiot behind the counter with when you try and place your order.

Oops link takes you to the parts I'm after. But I'm sure they'll have the nuts/bolts you require. They are really, really helpful in there.

Could do, but that means going to 'Nam. A very long way to go for a short bolt.

Imagine a sloth swimming front crawl in a pool of treacle.
Dealing with their staff usually leaves me with an expression on my face similar to a baby being offered a slice of lemon to suck.
I use this place:

Not the cheapest but top quality stuff.
