Hi All,
My name's Martin and I was a regular user of the website until about a year and a half ago when I got knocked off my K3 SVS on the M25 and the cracked the weld on the side of the frame (for those that care, the frame protector snapped off on impact and took a chip out of the weld, which then propogated).
Since then I've been on a uni placement at Triumph, and bought a Daytona 675. I returned to uni this year and have decided to resurect the SV. I've stripped the frame, had the crack welded and put it back together again.

The final phase in the SV's reincarnation is an MOT, can anyone tell me a good place to go in the Guildford area where they don't mind a fruity can?!

Also, where's The Anchor? Would like to get myself along to the next meet.

Hey mart long time no see!!

The only places i can think of are normandy m/cs or portmans. Normandys criteria for a fruity can are- as long as it doesan't have "not for road use" or something similar on it (if it does you could cover it with a sticker for mot day :wink: ) and as long as it's not obscenely loud it should be ok. Hazve never used portmans and tbh not even sure if they do mots?

Oh and the Anchor is at Pyrford lock not far from wisley gardens

Hey there, welcome back! check out the announcement thread for a link to the anchor pub and watch out for the post that usually goes up every 2 weeks for it.

Good luck sorting your bike out :D I went to a place near fleet, I did have the baffle in though

Quite excited now, SV is almost ready for the MOT'ers!

Think I might have the only red pointy SV with a silver frame - looks mint :D
Forgot how good she sounds with the ART can as well :twisted: Not sure Mr MOT will appreciate it though!
