I probably won't be going to the Anchor now until it warms up again next year. Too far and by the time I am home from my 35 mile commute from work I need to defrost myself. I heard it's colder inside the pub than it is outside too! :shock:

Those who go are hardcore........or they just live closer than I do. :D

I'm probably in some agreement with Dan here, it's all getting a bit cold and dark commuting to work and back to be heading back out again once I'm in the warm at home.

That aside, maybe we could try and sort out a get-together for sometime near Xmas??

for those of us that live away from the Anchor why don't we do the wednesday night meet at the Ely until the better weather arrives and for those that live nearer the anchor continue with the Thursday night meet?????

as for a christmas meet - its been suggested i've been on pub crawls of the area collecting christmas menus! if that any use unless you wanna meet at the anchor

Not a bad idea but would probably mean a tiny (2 or 3 people) turnout at each meet

yeah i realise that its just the weather is gonna get worse instead of better for now and not all of us have the option of coming in by car I know Dan is one of those people so a meet at the Ely might be a good idea???[

Finally found the Achor this afternoon, so will be along this evening. With the weather like it is, I'll be riding the Honda.

Likewise, Wednesdays at the Ely sound good. Though I'm not 100% sure where it is, I know Blackbushe and is easy enough to get to.

I wont be around every week though. I commute into London every day (by train :oops: ) And usually dont leave the office until 6:30. But I'll do my best to put in an appearance when I can.

Of course come the spring and summer I'll be along both Wed AND Thurs :D

Although next Wed will be a problem for me seeing as I will be on the lash in Barbados!
